Our Commitment
OneHeart is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that civic engagement is a universal right, and our technology should never be a barrier to participation. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our platform and apply relevant international standards.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Accessibility Features
Our platform includes the following accessibility features: full keyboard navigation support without requiring a mouse, compatibility with major screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver, sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the interface, resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality, descriptive alt text for all meaningful images, clear and consistent navigation structure, and form labels and error messages that are clear and descriptive.
Assistive Technologies
OneHeart is designed to work with a range of assistive technologies. We regularly test our platform with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom functionality. We also ensure compatibility with browser accessibility settings such as high contrast mode and reduced motion preferences.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, there may be some areas of our platform that do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to identify and address these limitations. Known areas under improvement include some older PDF documents, certain third-party embedded content, and some complex interactive components. We prioritize fixing accessibility issues as they are identified.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing effort at OneHeart. We conduct regular accessibility audits, incorporate accessibility testing into our development process, provide accessibility training for our team, and review and update our platform regularly to maintain and improve accessibility standards.

We aim to respond to all accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible.
