Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OneHeart ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
Use of the Platform
OneHeart provides tools for creating petitions, collecting signatures, and running awareness campaigns. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You must not use the platform to post false or misleading information, harass or harm others, impersonate any person or entity, violate any applicable local or international laws, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
User Accounts
To create a petition or manage campaigns, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at security@oneheart.org of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Content Guidelines
All content submitted to OneHeart must comply with our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these guidelines. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: hate speech, harassment, misinformation, content promoting violence, sexually explicit material, and content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
Petition Creation
When you create a petition, you represent that all information provided is accurate and truthful. You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content on OneHeart, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with our services. Petitions are subject to review and may be rejected or removed if they violate our guidelines.
Signatures & Data
When users sign your petition, their information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice. As a petition creator, you may access signer information solely for purposes related to your campaign. You may not use signer data for unrelated marketing, sell it to third parties, or use it in any way that violates our Privacy Notice or applicable law.
Intellectual Property
The OneHeart platform, including its design, code, features, and content created by us, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without our express written permission. You retain all rights to the content you create and upload.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following: scraping or automatically collecting data from the platform, creating fake accounts or signatures, manipulating petition signature counts, using the platform to distribute spam or malware, attempting to reverse engineer any part of the platform, or interfering with the proper working of the platform in any way.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Disclaimer of Warranties
OneHeart is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content on the platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneHeart and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
