The transition to renewable energy is the single most important action we can take to address the climate crisis — but it cannot happen if solar panels and clean energy systems remain unaffordable for ordinary households. While wealthy homeowners install solar and save money, lower-income communities continue paying high bills for fossil fuel electricity. We demand generous public incentive programs for solar installation, priority support for low-income households and social housing, removal of bureaucratic barriers to renewable energy adoption, and binding renewable energy targets with real enforcement.
