The Issue
Corruption costs the global economy an estimated 2.6 trillion dollars annually and disproportionately harms the poorest and most vulnerable. When public officials steal from their citizens, schools go unfunded, hospitals go without medicine, and infrastructure crumbles. Impunity breeds more corruption. We demand mandatory independent audits of all public institutions, full public disclosure of government contracts and expenditures, strong whistleblower protection laws, and an end to the culture of impunity that allows corrupt officials to escape accountability.
