The Issue
Banks and governments continue to pour trillions of dollars into coal, oil, and gas projects even as climate disasters intensify and scientists warn we are running out of time. Every dollar spent on fossil fuels is a dollar stolen from our children future. We demand an immediate end to public financing of new fossil fuel projects, redirection of all subsidies toward renewable energy infrastructure, a just transition plan that protects workers in affected industries, and binding international commitments with real enforcement mechanisms. Climate change does not negotiate. Neither should we. Sign this petition and demand that world leaders act with the urgency this crisis demands.
