The Issue
Every year, millions of people flee war, persecution, and climate disasters only to face illegal pushbacks, detention, and denial of basic rights at European borders. International law guarantees the right to seek asylum. Governments are breaking that law. We call on EU governments and the European Commission to immediately end mass deportations without due process, provide adequate shelter and healthcare to all asylum seekers, fund fair and fast asylum procedures, and develop genuine integration programs that allow refugees to rebuild their lives with dignity. No one chooses to become a refugee. Every person deserves to have their case heard fairly. Stand with us.
